The Rabbi Morris Gordon (z"l) Seminar in PAIRS Training

PAIRS is a nationally acclaimed, carefully crafted, skill- and research-based curriculum for couples and individuals in any stage of a relationship.

The PAIRS mission is simple and compelling:
  • Teach those attitudes, emotional understandings, and behaviors that nurture and sustain healthy marital and family relationships and make this knowledge broadly available on behalf of a safer, saner, more loving world.
  • Empower couples with practical integrated skills and concepts to direct their lives and develop emotional literacy.

About Rabbi Morris Gordon, PhD

Rabbi Morris Gordon (z"l), an innovative, energetic and dynamic leader, graduated as rabbi with distinction from The Jewish Theological Seminary and was later awarded a doctor of Divinity, honorus causa, in recognition of his years of service to the rabbinate.

Rabbi Gordon supported Conservative Judaism through his tireless and creative efforts. He served as past president of the Rabbinical Assembly of Greater Washington, former chairman of education of the Washington Board of Rabbis, and honorary life chair of the board's annual Kallah education conference. He and his wife, Dr. Lori H. Gordon, established the PAIRS Foundation, which developed an international reputation for its effectiveness in transforming and empowering relationships-the essential building blocks of healthier families and communities.
