Jeffrey Abraham

Jeffrey Abraham is in his third year at The Rabbinical School of JTS and his third year of teaching at Prozdor. Jeffrey received an MA degree in Education at the University of Judaism in 2006. He teaches ethics, prayer, and Bible, as well as Israel and Jewish Civilizations; this year, Jeffrey will be teaching the eighth grade. Jeffrey is currently working as a rabbinic intern in East Meadow, Long Island and Canton, Ohio. He was the recipient of the 2008 Rabbi Harold H. Gordon Prize for the student who has made the greatest progress in rabbinical school. Prior to moving to New York in August 2006, Jeffrey resided in Los Angeles for five years and taught at many Jewish institutions, including Los Angeles Hebrew High School. Jeffrey also received a double BA in Jewish Studies and Hebrew Letters from the University of Judaism, magna cum laude, in 2005. Jeffrey was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
