Julie Deluty

Julie Deluty is looking forward to returning to Prozdor after being a student here some time ago. Julie recently received an MA in Bible and Ancient Semitics from The Graduate School of The Jewish Theological Seminary, where she was awarded the Robert Gordis Prize in Bible. A native of Queens, New York, Julie graduated summa cum laude from New York University (NYU) in 2007 with a double major in Judaic Studies and Romance Languages (Spanish and French). While at NYU, she received the Phi Beta Kappa Prize for best thesis in the humanities. Julie loves to travel and was a participant on the Tel Megiddo archaeological dig in Israel and spent a summer in Madrid. She has been teaching at Congregation Ansche Chesed for the past few years and currently works at the Center for Jewish History, where she was on the staff of the Samberg Family History program.
