Funding to Help JTS Students

Experiencing a financial emergency? Need money now to succeed in school?

Help is available to matriculated JTS students. The application process is private, brief, and designed to help you quickly receive money for urgent, unexpected needs.

Petrie Emergency Fund

Grants to meet short-term financial needs, including basic living expenses (such as rent, utilities, food) and unexpected costs connected with a disability, accident, serious illness, travel to handle an important family matter, or loss from theft or fire. JTS Emergency Loans

Interest-free loans of up to $1,000 are repayable within one year from the date of loan or graduation/withdrawal (earliest date will apply). May be used when money from a federal student loan, tax refund, or employer is delayed. JTS Financial Aid

The JTS Financial Aid Office reevaluates eligibility for JTS financial aid for matriculated American and Canadian students who experience a long-term financial change. Need-based grants and loans are available if you or your parents experience a loss of income due to a change in employment or marital status, death, or illness in your family.
