Help is available to matriculated JTS students. The application process is private, brief, and designed to help you quickly receive money for urgent, unexpected needs.
Grants to meet short-term financial needs, including basic living expenses (such as rent, utilities, food) and unexpected costs connected with a disability, accident, serious illness, travel to handle an important family matter, or loss from theft or fire. Interest-free loans of up to $1,000 are repayable within one year from the date of loan or graduation/withdrawal (earliest date will apply). May be used when money from a federal student loan, tax refund, or employer is delayed. The JTS Financial Aid Office reevaluates eligibility for JTS financial aid for matriculated American and Canadian students who experience a long-term financial change. Need-based grants and loans are available if you or your parents experience a loss of income due to a change in employment or marital status, death, or illness in your family.
