Alumni from the five schools of The Jewish Theological Seminary are invited to an evening of dinner and dialogue at the fourth annual JTS Delaware Valley Alumni Reunion. The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 23 at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El, 1001 Remington Road, Wynnewood. Rabbi Daniel Nevins, Pearl Resnick Dean of The Rabbinical School of The Jewish Theological Seminary, will be the guest speaker.

He is a member of the Executive Council of the Rabbinical Assembly, and serves on its Committee on Jewish Law and Standards. He has written responsa on the halakhic topics of personal status, disabilities, bioethics, and homosexuality.

Prior to joining JTS in 2007, Rabbi Nevins served as religious leader of Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills, Michigan, for thirteen years. The author of a number of well-received articles and essays, Rabbi Nevins earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and his master’s degree and rabbinic ordination from JTS. He received a graduate fellowship from the Wexner Foundation.
