"Rabbi Danielle Upbin, 38, is the Jewish Theological Seminary's new Florida rabbinic fellow. Although she lives in Clearwater, Upbin will work out of JTS' Boca Raton office for several days every month.
An honors graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, Upbin was ordained at JTS in 2002. She is associate rabbi and shlichat tzibur (prayer leader) at Congregation Beth Shalom in Clearwater where her husband, David Weizman, is the rabbi. The couple lives in Clearwater with their four children.
