AVI CHAI is a private foundation established in 1984 that functions in the United States and in Israel. The objectives of AVI CHAI are twofold: to encourage those of the Jewish faith toward greater commitment to Jewish observance and lifestyle by increasing their understanding, appreciation, and practice of Jewish traditions, customs, and laws; and to encourage mutual understanding and sensitivity among Jews of different religious backgrounds and commitments to observance.

Jewish Educational Service of North America
Educational resource that provides information on educator recruitment and development, media and technology, research, and evaluation. This organization also offers networks for a variety of educational disciplines (e.g., the Consortium for Special Needs Educators, the Jewish Day School Network, and the Network for Research in Jewish Education).
National Association of Independent Schools
A membership organization that provides standards for teaching and educating in private, independent schools as well as a support network for both professional and political concerns. Nonmembers may access a variety of publications (e.g., NAIS.ink, IndependentSchool, and articles on equity and justice). Other resources available include links to numerous online job boards, links to books and other publications, lists of web resources available to teachers and other education professionals, select statistics on performance of independent schools, and announcements about conferences held nationally.
National School Reform Faculty
NSRF is a professional development initiative that focuses on developing collegial relationships, encouraging reflective practice, and rethinking leadership in restructuring schools. It supports and coordinates Critical Friends Groups (CFGs).
The Network for Research in Jewish Education
NRJE was established to encourage, support, and stimulate serious research in Jewish education; to create a community of researchers in the field; and to advocate for increased funding and for proper utilization of research in Jewish education. Activities include an annual conference on research in Jewish education, a newsletter, and an email discussion group.
