Benchmark: A learning outcome; what a student will be able to know and do.
Suggested Examples: A sample of concepts or texts that can be applied when teaching the benchmark.
Suggested Resources: Suggested background reading for teachers that may also be appropriate for students.
Sample Learning Activities: Class activities that instruct, support, or reinforce the attainment of the benchmark.
Grade Bands: Benchmarks are banded for the grade bands K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12.
