Silk Scarves

These richly textured designs are derived from Persian bookbindings housed within the library's collection. The decorative birds and flowers, as well as the palette of reds and burnished golds, are typical of luxurious lacquered Persian bindings created between the fifteenth and nineteenth centuries.

Each scarf is presented in an elegant gift folder. 35" x 35".
