The Jewish Theological Seminary
The Jewish Theological Seminary provides Conservative Judaism and the broad, vital religious center of North American Jewry with a vision of what Judaism has been and can be, and trains the next generation of leaders to guide their communities in pursuit of that vision and the continual engagement of mitzvot.
With a roster of scholars on our faculty that is unparalleled anywhere outside of Israel, and a library with the greatest collection of Hebraica and Judaica in the Western Hemisphere, we bring age-old teachings and the wisdom of our tradition to bear on contemporary dilemmas and concerns and equip Jewish leaders to shape a future for Jews and Judaism that is both vibrant and authentic.
