Tuvia and his wife are busy raising a four- and a six-year-old, and they recently celebrated the arrival of a new baby. For Tuvia, children represent the future. "If you teach your children well, you will create strong links in the chain of Jewish continuity," he says.
Drawn to what she calls the “theology and intellectual honesty” of Judaism, Wilhelmina converted to Judaism after graduating from St. Olaf College in Minnesota, where she majored in Asian Studies.
After working as a trader for Citibank, Gloria embarked on a second career...studying Technology in Jewish Education as part of The Davidson School’s Informal Education track.
“I worked with everyone from David Bowie to 50 Cent..I like the music, but the work wasn’t meaningful..." Becoming a student at The Davidson School and The Jewish Theological Seminary provided the Jewish community of work and study that she was missing.
An alumna of The Davidson School, she says she learned how to integrate the kinds of learning she experienced as a student in Israel into what she does today as a Jewish educator.

Recently appointed JTS's new Provost, Dr. Cooper has been Professor of Bible and Director of Publications at JTS since 1997 and the Elaine Ravich Professor of Jewish Studies since 2005.
As Jason continues to hone his pitching prowess, he is also strengthening his Hebrew-language skills. A graduate of the Solomon Schechter Day School in Plainview, Long Island, he was happy that his Hebrew came back to him so quickly in Israel last summer.
