Do you know that Chanukah is less than two weeks away? Yes, the first candle is lit on Sunday, November 28. What are you giving your mother, wife, or daughter? What are you giving friends and associates? What gift do you want? Let Torah Fund help you! Make your loved one a:
Torah Fund Benefactor at $180
Torah Fund Guardian at $300
Torah Fund Associate Patron at $600
Torah Fund Patron at $1,200
Torah Fund Scholarship Patron at $2,500
Torah Fund Keter Kavod, Crown of Honor at $5,000
Ask your loved one to make you a Benefactor, Guardian, or Patron. Make yourself a Benefactor, Guardian, or Patron!
Why give Torah Fund as a gift? Let us count the reasons:
The preservation, promotion and perpetuation of Conservative/Masorti Judaism. The support of programs and scholarships at our five institutions of higher learning: The Jewish Theological Seminary (New York), Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (Los Angeles), Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies (Jerusalem), Seminario Rabinico Latinoamericano (Buenos Aires), and Zacharias Frankel College (Potsdam). For 80 years, Torah Fund has provided funds for the Women’s League Educational Pavilion (Kripke Tower), the Women’s League Seminary Synagogue (WLSS), renovations in the Mathilde Schechter Residence Hall, Goldsmith Hall, a residence hall at the American Jewish University, the JTS Quadrangle, JTS Library bookshelves, the garden at Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies, Torah Fund scholarships for students, the renovation of the Women’s League Seminary Synagogue, support of the year in Israel for Ziegler rabbinical students, and our current designated project, Creating New Spaces, which funds the Women’s League Study Space in the new undergraduate residence hall at JTS, and a special course of training for rabbinical students at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, entitled Women’s League Institute on Gender Bias and Harassment. Your contribution is tax-deductible in the United States and Canada to the extent of the law.
Contributing to Torah Fund is a win-win-win idea: It’s a gift to someone special; it’s a contribution to a worthy cause; and it’s tax-deductible. Please donate today! Happy Chanukah!
