The Jewish Week‘s eighth annual “36 Under 36” list of rising Jewish innovators features JTS alum Ira Stup (LC ’09) and current student Raysh Weiss.
Ira Stup is an alumnus of the Albert A. List College of Jewish Studies. He is a founding staffer of J Street U, the campus arm of the liberal Israel advocacy group J Street, and spent a year as a Dorot Fellow, volunteering and conducting research on Jewish and Palestinian communities in the West Bank. Now preparing for law school, Mr. Stup serves as a senior consultant to J Street U.
Raysh Weiss is a student at The Rabbinical School. One of Ms. Weiss’s primary interests is building interfaith connections between Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
