An Exhibition at The Library of JTS

At JTS

The Library of JTS invites you to the opening event of this special exhibition, which explores the role of Jewish women in culture and history, and their involvement with the early printing of Hebrew books.

JTS is proud to showcase a selection of rare books printed by Jewish women from the earliest days of Hebrew publishing. The exhibit includes pieces from the JTS Library collection and new artwork created by American artist/printmaker Lynne Avadenka whose prints were inspired by Jewish women’s role in early Hebrew printing.
