2024 Judge Simon H. Rifkind Award Luncheon

The Judge Simon H. Rifkind Award Luncheon was held on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Pierre Hotel in New York City. This year, JTS honored Loretta Lynch, former United States attorney general and partner at Paul, Weiss, and Tina John, general counsel and secretary of Rocket Companies.

In a room filled with nearly 100 guests, including esteemed attorneys and members of the JTS Board of Trustees, the honorees spoke about their personal connections to Judge Rifkind, the fight against antisemitism, and how their careers as attorneys provided them the tools to become better people.

The Judge Simon H. Rifkind Award was established at JTS in 1996 in recognition of Judge Rifkind’s exemplary life, which was marked by professional preeminence, distinguished public service, and unstinting devotion to the Jewish community. Honoree bios can be found here.
